Great post. As long as you are iterating backwards, you can also get a reference to the list item and perform the Recycle method as opposed to deleting the record completely.

SPListItem listItem = list.Items[i];
listItem.Recycle();

thanks for the explaination,
i was facing problem of deleting cause it was not deleting the last item from the list cause my incremental for loop….

anyways thanks a ton

i really request you to explain about the list and datatable whenever i try to use the Datatable with List data……many times it give me NULL error somehow it doesnt allow me to even extract the data….and i had to forcefully qrite SELECT query from the database.
